Group Rates

Group bookings are available weekdays. A maximum of 30 students is recommended, larger groups may be accommodated upon request. Teachers, bus drivers, and chaperons receive free admission. Washroom and picnic facilities are also available, and some areas of the museum are wheelchair accessible. Phone ahead to arrange a hot dog lunch!

HCRR can accommodate charter and/or senior groups of 20 or more with advance booking and confirmation. Please note, the museum is able to accommodate most standard wheelchairs, but some streetcars and display areas are not wheelchair accessible.

Evening bookings are for an event after regular operation hours. A $250 surcharge +HST (non-refundable) is required at least three days before the event. Normal admission rates are required on the day of the event.

Daytime bookings are for an event during regular operation hours. No deposit is required. No bookings before 10:00 am and no bookings after 4:30 pm.

There are two options for parties held at the museum:

• Back Room of the Welcome Centre – A $75 fee + HST for a two and half hour booking, plus regular admission rates per person.
• Rockwood Station – A $90 fee + HST for a two and half hour booking, plus regular admission rates per person.

(10 years & under. Minimum of 15 people required.) A flat rate of $16.50/person + HST (applies to any person one year or older) is required, plus facility rate (as per “Parties” above). Bring your own decorations, party materials and food. Snack Bar items are available at prevailing rates.

The Halton County Radial Railway offers a unique background for any occasion. It has been used for weddings, engagements and other special events to create a wonderful experience. Flat rate of $200 + HST. Contact us for details.
